Delete your Nuvilo account

Delete in the app

1. Open Nuvilo and sign in.
2. Tap the Pet tab (your pet’s photo in the tab bar) and scroll to the bottom.
3. Tap Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently.

Delete without the app

Email privacy@nuvilo.pet from the address you use for Nuvilo, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We complete requests within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your account, profile and sign-in details; your pets and all their records, reminders, documents, photos and memories; your household memberships; your Smart Add history; and all Pet Passport links, which stop working immediately.

What is kept, and for how long

• Backups: encrypted database backups are overwritten automatically within 7 days.
• Diagnostics: crash reports contain no names, emails or pet details and are deleted within 90 days. Usage analytics are deleted with your account.
• Legal records: only where the law requires it, for example to resolve a dispute.
• Purchases: Apple and Google keep their own transaction records.

Before you delete

• Subscriptions and free trials: deleting your account does not cancel your subscription or free trial. Cancel it first in App Store or Google Play settings.
• Shared households: if you own a household, members lose access to your pets and everything in them is deleted. To keep the pets in the household, transfer ownership first. If you are a member, you simply leave; what you added stays with the pets.
• Your data: you can export it first in the app under Export data.
